Business stuff AGAIN

Last summer I hit a very rough patch. There was a period of about three months that I had one client and no calls from possible new ones. Luckily then I had a few thousand in savings, but by the end of those savings, the client situation had not improved, and I was worried about how I was going to eat.

Luckily, my roommate had bought herself a bunch of NutriiSystem food, and decided she hated it very early on, and gave it to me. Most of it was pretty gross, but it was calories. At the same time I also won a drawing at Chipotle for a year's worth of free burritos. They call it a year because it's 52, so they figure one per week. Well, let's just say over the next few weeks I probably ate about six months worth.

Then things very quickly turned around in September, and I picked up six new clients in two weeks. Before that happened, I found myself on Craig's List every day, desperately searching for any and all jobs that I was even peripherally qualified for. I find myself there again this week.

Last summer, the job I picked up was working for an incompetent jerk, who I quit on as soon as I was financially able. Hopefully this time I find something that I might actually like.
