The picture is a link that goes to the IMDB entry for this film. Pirates has the distinction of having the largest budget of any adult film to date, and also happens to be the most recent addition to my collection. Surprisingly, it's actually kind of a good film. Most of the actors are actually pretty decent, so watching the filler in between "scenes" is not as abysmal as usual with this kind of film. They even dropped the cash for some pretty nifty CG effects, and went so far as to rent the actual pirate ship that was used in all the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN films. No joke, this flick is actually kinda entertaining.

Also, we've invented a new game. It's called Keep Up With The Movie. The title is also the one and only rule of the game, and I think it is fairly self-explanatory. It's a great game because everybody wins. With Pirates we got seven "points" out of the eight possible that the film offers. Not exactly one for the record books, but nobody here is complaining.

COMMENTS:

When you say keep up with the movie, you mean keep up with the plot?

No, Ed, I think he means keeping up with the--erm--"action" sequences in the movie...

I sharpened up the presentation of the post a bit. Hope that clears up any further confusion.
