Okay, I'm going to level with you folks, and ask for your help.

There is a link in the lefthand column to a blog called ADVICE GIRL

It is a joke blog.

But, it is a joke blog that needs your help. We want to write all kinds of sarcstically funny and entertaining responses to your problems, but we need to hear your problems.

We first tried to pass it off as legitamate to see what happened, but apparently your just too smart for that.

So, after posting the above I went to check and see if indeed AdviceGirl had gotten any emails. It occured to me that it hadn't been checked in a few days.

Much to my surprise her SPAM-box had one of those money scams in it. You know, the one where some "foreign diplomat" tells you "I have $30 miliion" and they need to squirrel it through your account, "so please send me the account number." Right.

You know the kind of thing I mean. If you haven't ever gotten one, I'm sure you will one day.

Anyway, this "Dr. Ribadu Musa" of some African nation is asking Advice Girl for this help. I had to laugh my ass off. I mean, if he's an African diplomat, why is his email address ribadumusa@netcape.net ? So, I sent off this reply to the esteemed Dr. Musa:


Dearest Con Artist,

This is funny as hell. You have emailed somebody that doesn't exist.

You sent your little money scam to a fictional character who writes a fictional advice column.

It's obvious that you got this email by one of those bots that grabs them off of webpages, but damn is this funny.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
