Today marks eleven months Lenka and I have been together. We're very close to one year already, and it has flown by like a pleasant breeze.
As I'm getting older I'm starting to see how old people describe their lives. They blink and the next thing they know they're in their 70's.
Age thirty is looming around the corner, that could be where that talk is coming from.
30 is still a little ways away...which is good because I don't want to break up until I turn 30 :) And btw, happy 11-month-aversary my love.

ReplyDeleteSee, Lenka is 2 years younger than me, so she said that when I hit 30 she will mercilessly tease me about how much older I am than her, because she will still be in her 20s for two more years.
My response was we will break up the day before my 30th birthday, and not speak for two years, and then get back together on her 30th birthday.
I think it's a perfectly reasonable plan.
Rinse and repeat at 40, 50, etc.
