So here it is, Wednesday, November 5; the day the final Matrix installment is due to come out and I can't say that I am the least bit excited. Don't get me wrong, I mean, I am going to see it. I decided to reserve judgement on the second one until I saw the third, seeing as how they are one contiguous movie split in two. As much as the philosphy involved in Matrix Reloaded was interesting, the fight scenes (surprisingly) put me to sleep. I'm not exactly sure why, but that movie's fight scenes were painfully boring and seemed never-ending. I kept thinking "Come on. let's get to more dialogue." WHAT?!?! I have never had similar thoughts during an action film before. But anyway, the last fifteen minutes of part 2 were great, and left me wanting to see more before I decided if I liked 2 or not. BUT I can't say that I am excited. I need the closure, I suppose, as a hopelessly addicted movie-goer, but I'm not itching for it either. Ho hum.
