Oh please no. Not again, America. Not again.

Watch the clip first. It's hilarious. Last night on CNN (I think) I saw a split screen shot of Tina Fey's Palin Impression from the clip, next to the real Palin in the real interview. A couple sections (and the ones that make the least sense) are DIRECT QUOTES FROM THE REAL CANDIDATE.

I didn't get to see the entire interview, so I don't know about context, or how the rant ended, but the string of non sequiturs you see in this skit came out of the real Palin's mouth verbatim.

I also read a transcript of her talking about abortion. She dropped the phrase "culture of life" six times in a handful of paragraphs. The first one alone gave me chills. You may recall that was a long-time pet phrase of Mr W Bush and his cronies.

It both gave me chills and made me laugh. I thought McCain was fighting tooth and nail to distance himself from W, and here Palin is dropping his taglines on national TV. The more I see her speak, the more I keep thinking "Bush in a pants suit."
