The following was taken from a blog that shall remain nameless. I know this person, but many of you do not. Regardless of who wrote it, this sort of nonsensical, circular logic is symptomatic of one of the larger problems facing our country, and the international community.
This is a small excerpt of an extremely long-winded and meandering post that makes very little sense. I wish I could say I don't judge, but I do. What that judgment is, I will leave for you to see for yourself.
This is uncut, copied and pasted right from their blog. This nugget was my favorite because it was the least coherent. I know some of you that come by here are spiritual and/or religious. Can any of you make any sense of this?
"What I've come to believe and understand about God is that he moves in waves or a spiral.. depends on the view... from an aerial position, it looks like a circle.. from the side.. its an evolutionary spiral proceeding forward. On one side of the spiral is our spirituality and the other is our physicality with energy ( the force by which God operates) being what urges it to move.
In this way, I conclude that things are bound to change, and depending on the context is how we should come to our conclusion as to whether it is right or wrong. The other context we have to consider is ourselves. Do we deem this context correct from OUR perspective and how WE have come to deem it right, or do we look at it as correct in terms of what is best for survival of the greater whole and good.
We can survive more on fear (which turns into hate, yet stems from love) just as we can survive more on love (love being the only reason for existence) we can also be eliminated on love or fear. To me it seems that this is the paradigm. The question we all ask is... are we eternal? Will our consciousness survive if our bodies parish? Well, Materialism would say we disappear. We cease to exist. There is no spirit. No soul."
