Spent the afternoon today cleaning the apartamento today.
I start shooting for this film on Monday, and the days are 12 hours plus, so I knew if I didn't recitify the look of this place today it wouldn't happen until some time in early June.
You ever clean a stove-top? You ever pull out the little metal bowl-shaped things under the burner and scrub those too?
Me neither. But I did today. I even wiped the thick layers of dust off of the jars of the spices that we don't like and don't use much.
And for those of you have seen my place lately; yes, I finally tackled the five foot tall mound of laundry.
For those of you who have not seen my place lately; yes, it was actually five feet tall.
Now I'm off to relax for about an hour before I go off to see the set and props and costumes and whatnot.
